Description:

Agathla Peak is apart of the Navajo Volcanic Field located in the southern Colorado Plateau. This volcanic plug rises over 1500 feet above the surrounding terrain. 8 miles north of Kayenta, AZ, 20 miles south of Monument Valley, UT.

Notes:

- Rock climbing is not allowed
- Nearest hotel, restaurant, and fuel station is 8 miles away
- Residents live near the peak
- Dirt road to location may be unkept and hard to navigate after inclement weather
